It is known that the Board of Audit and Inspection, which
is investigating allegations of manipulation of statistics by the Moon Jae-in government, called in Jang Ha-seong, former head of the Blue House policy office, to investigate.
According to the political circle, the Board of Audit and Inspection conducted a face-to-face investigation on former chief Jang yesterday (21st), and it was reported that the Korea Real Estate Agency investigated the suspicion of involvement in housing price trend investigations.
Former chief of staff Jang was the first policy director of the Moon Jae-in administration, who formulated ‘income-led growth’, and the Board of Audit and Inspection also investigated former policy directors Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sang-jo.
The Board of Audit and Inspection suspects that during the Moon Jae-in administration, there were preliminary reports on provisional statistics and discussions on intervention.
