Professional soccer K League 2 newcomer Cheonan City FC earned its second win of the season.
Cheonan won 3-0 away from home against Seoul Eland in the 31st round of the Hana OneQ K League 2 2023 at Mokdong Sports Complex in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul on Saturday.
With two wins, eight draws and 18 points, Cheonan remained at the bottom of the table, but it was their second win of the season in two months after beating Seongnam FC 3-2 on July 23.
After Motta made it 1-0 in the 13th minute with a left-footed mid-range shot, Cheonan doubled its lead nine minutes into the second half when Paulinho beat a defender inside the penalty area with a right-footed grounder.
Paulinho made it 3-0 in the 39th minute with an exquisite pass to Lee Seok-gyu to seal the win.
Leaders Busan IPark won 3-0 at home against Seongnam FC to extend their winning streak to four games.
With 56 points, Busan has opened up a four-point gap on second-place Gimcheon Commerce (52 points), who have played one game less.
Chungbuk Cheongju FC held on for a 1-0 win away to Ansan Greeners, with Georges’ goal coming in the 18th minute of the second half.
Chungbuk Cheongju has not lost a game in its last 14 matches with eight wins and six draws, moving up one place to sixth (11W, 10D, 7L – 43 points).
Ansan, which has struggled with two draws and four defeats in its last six games, is 12th with 18 points, four points behind last-place Cheonan. 스포츠토토
