Siheung Citizen Football Club is back on top of the K3 League.

Siheung Citizen Football Club, led by head coach Park Seung-soo, defeated Paju City Football Club 3-0 in the 29th round of the K3 League at Siheung Hope Park on Sunday. Camilo opened the scoring with a penalty kick in the 9th minute, and Lee Ji-hong in the 4th minute and Lima in the 34th minute sealed the victory.

With the win, Siheung (18 wins, 6 draws, 5 losses, 60 points) increased their goal difference to four points over second-place Gyeongju Hansuwon (17 wins, 5 draws, 7 losses, 56 points) and clinched the league title regardless of the outcome of the remaining matches. The win comes three years after the team was promoted to second place in the 무료 토토사이트 K4 League in 2021.

The 16-team K3 League is a “2+1 system” in which the winner is determined solely by the regular season standings, with the bottom two teams being relegated directly to the K4 League and the 14th-place team playing the winner of the K4 playoffs to determine the winner. This year, however, as the K4 League’s second-place team, Daejeon Hana Citizens B, will not participate in the league next season, only the bottom two teams will be relegated directly to the K4 League, with the 15th-place team playing a relegation playoff. The 15th and 16th place teams in the K3 League will be decided in the final round of the K3 League on November 2.

In the K4 League, Jeonbuk Hyundai B already clinched the title and promotion early on Oct. 5 in Round 25. Jeonbuk B celebrated the title with a 2-1 upset win over Jeonju Minsan Football Club in the final match on Oct. 26.

With second-place Daejeon Hana Citizen B giving up promotion after missing the league next season, third-place Seoul Nowon United will face the 15th-place team in the K3 League in a promotion decider. The promotion deciding match between Seoul Nowon United and the 15th-ranked team in the K3 League will be played on November 9 at the 15th-ranked team’s home stadium in a single-leg match.
