Lee topped the fan vote with 51.9% of the 2.39 million votes cast, or about 1.24 million votes, and also topped the player vote with 77.7% of the votes cast. This is only the second time in history that a player has topped both the fan and squad polls at the same time, following Doosan Yang Ji in 2018. Lee Jung-hoo, who topped the voting for the first time in his career, was named to the Best 12 for the fifth consecutive season and sixth time in his career. Lotte’s high school rookie Kim Min-seok’s Dream All-Star selection is also a story.The first high school rookie to make the All-Star team in six years since Lee Jung-hoo in 2017, Kim finished second in the fan vote for Dream All-Star outfielder and third in the combined player vote.
