Lim returns to training after ‘calf injury’ ahead of World No. 2 Germany clash

After being sidelined with a sore calf, key defender Lim Sun-ju (Incheon Hyundai Steel) has returned to training with the Women’s National Team.

The Women’s National Team will face Germany on Wednesday in their final Group H match at the 스포츠토토 FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia-New Zealand 2023.

The women’s national team began their final preparations for the match against Germany at Spencer Park in Australia on February 2.

On that day, Lim showed up at training. It was her return to training after three days off the field due to injury.

Previously, Lim left the field after feeling calf pain during warm-ups before the second Group H match against Morocco on March 30. After a medical examination, he was diagnosed with a muscle tear in his left calf.

Although it has not yet been decided whether she will play against Germany, Lim has been training normally.

“We have to see how healthy he is,” Bell said at the press conference, “We’ll test him today (in training). We’ll see if she can play tomorrow.”
