Leading DB Kim Joo-sung, who lost his second game in a row: “The defense didn’t work and the offense collapsed”

Professional basketball’s sole leader, Wonju DB, had its winning streak halted at six games as it was swept by Seoul SK.

DB dropped an 80-86 decision to SK in their 2023-2024 regular season game at Jamsil Student Gymnasium 토토사이트 on Thursday.

The team lost the fastbreak battle, an advantage, and its offense derived from Dedrick Lawson and Lee Sun Albano struggled against SK’s customized defense.

Lawson and Albano finished with 22 points, 11 assists and 13 rebounds, and 21 points and six assists, respectively, but the offense that ran through them was frustrating.

After a 30-point blowout win in the first round against SK, DB suffered its second loss in a row (13 games).

DB head coach Kim Joo-sung said, “The players played a little frantic today. “Overall, our body was a little heavy, and our defense timing was a little late. We should have been more careful, but when (defense) didn’t work, our offense fell apart.”

“We kept giving up offensive rebounds to SK, and we couldn’t continue our fast break. We kept giving up offensive rebounds to Warney. Our finishing was not good,” he summarized.

“We had a day off, but I could see the fatigue building up. “We should have pushed harder, but they pushed harder and we were distracted,” he added.
