K LEAGUE 1 GWANGJU FC RECRUITS FULLBACK KIM JIN-HO, WHO PLAYED IN GANGWON.

 Gwangju FC of the K-League 1, a professional soccer league led by coach Lee Jeong-hyo, announced on the 23rd that it has recruited fullback Kim Jin-ho, who played for Gangwon FC. Kim Jin-ho, who joined Gangwon in 2022 and entered the professional stage, recorded 3 goals and 2 assists in 28 games since his debut season, and also played an active part last season, scoring 2 goals and 2 assists in 25 games.

Gwangju expects Kim Jin-ho to play in a variety of positions, as he played not only his main position as fullback but also as a side attacker during his college days. The Gwangju club explained the background for his recruitment, saying, “Kim Jin-ho can use both feet, and his strengths are aggressive penetration and surprise left-foot shooting. He is capable of both attack and defense, and his man-to-man defense that utilizes speed is excellent.”

Jin-ho Kim said, “It is an honor to come to a good team called Gwangju.
