Heungkuk Life Insurance’s Kim Yeon-kyung Selected as Official Korea Sale Festa Ambassador

Outside hitter Kim Yeon-kyung, who plays for the women’s professional volleyball team Heungkuk Life, has been named an official ambassador for the 2023 Korea Sale Festa (KOSEFE). Kim’s management company, RyanAt, announced on Wednesday that Kim has been selected as an official ambassador for the event.

Cosepe is Korea’s largest shopping festival, now in its eighth year. It starts on Nov. 11 and runs for 20 days until Nov. 30.

This year’s Koseppe 바카라사이트 is meaningful. “It is the first event to be held after the declaration of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) pandemic, and the plan is to create a nationwide consumption atmosphere in line with the national measures to revitalize domestic demand announced on March 29,” said the KOPECE Promotion Committee.

Compared to last year’s event, the event period has been extended by five days. “With the slogan ‘National Shopping Festival,’ we are preparing to become the largest shopping festival in Korea where people can enjoy not only shopping but also culture,” said the Koseppe Promotion Committee. “We plan to expand the scale of the event to more than 2,400 participating companies, up from 2,316 last year, and support companies to focus on discount events.”

The government is also planning to provide support to boost consumption during Koseppe. “Last month (September), we sent a letter to local governments to encourage them to link up with local festivals held during the adjacent period of CosEPE or to participate in discount events for local specialty products,” said the CosEPE Promotion Committee. “During the event, we will support the promotion of CosEPE through outdoor billboards and large banners owned by the government.”

“Discounts on a variety of products, including fresh and processed food, electronics, and fashion, during Cosefes can contribute significantly to stabilizing prices in this era of high inflation by promoting consumption, and can be a win-win opportunity for both businesses and consumers,” said Jeong Hwan, president of the Korea Retail Association.

Cosepes was first launched in 2015 to revitalize consumer sentiment that was depressed due to MERS, and is a shopping festival held every November with the participation of not only the retail industry such as hypermarkets, department stores, online shopping, and traditional markets, but also the manufacturing and service industries.

Meanwhile, Heungkuk Life will start its 2023-24 Dodram V League schedule with an away game against Korea Expressway Corporation at Gimcheon Gymnasium on Thursday. The home opener will be against Pepper Savings Bank at Samsan Gymnasium in Incheon on the 22nd.
