LET Aramco Team Series competition held in Korea in May Kim Hyo-joo and others participate

The European Ladies Professional Golf Tour (LET) Aramco Team Series tournament, sponsored by Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund (PIF), will be held in Korea for the first time next month.

This is the second competition in the international series touring a total of five countries this year, and this is the first time that the Aramco Team Series competition, sponsored by Saudi Arabia PIF, is held in Korea.

In this tournament, with a total prize money of 1 million dollars (approximately 1.38 billion won), 36 teams consisting of 3 professional players and 1 amateur player compete for the championship trophy, and on the last day, the professional players compete for the individual title.

In this tournament, in which Kolon Group is the official host partner, world ranked 10th-ranked Kim Hyo-joo, who plays on the LPGA Tour, and Korean player Danielle Kang (USA) will participate.

Kim Hyo-joo said, “I’m looking forward to it because the competition format is really unique. It’s my first time participating in a competition with this type of operation. I’ll do my best to compete with fellow LPGA players on Korean soil and show high-level performance to the gallery.” He expressed his feelings.
