Choi Jeong-man of the Yeongam-gun Folk Ssireum Team achieved his third consecutive victory at the Gangneung Dano Jangsa Ssireum Competition.
Choi Jeong-man defeated Jeong Jong-jin (Ulju County Office) 3-0 in the deciding match of the Withers Pharmaceutical 2024 Gangneung Dano Jangsa Ssireum Competition Geumgang Jangsa (under 90 kg) held at the special stadium in the Gangneung Dano Festival venue in Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do on the 11th.
He won both the first and second rounds by betting on both legs, and in the third round, he defeated Jeong Jong-jin with a field leg technique at the start and easily won the bull trophy.
Choi Jeong-man defeated Shin Hyun-jun (Mungyeong City Hall) in the round of 16 and Moon Yun-sik (Gwangju City Hall) 2-0 in the quarterfinals, and defeated Lee Jun-hyung (MG Saemaeul Geumgo Ssireum Team) 2-1 in the semifinals.
